Corn fed, born, and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, family and community have always been at the heart of everything Jake does. Growing up, he spent countless trips visiting family in Baldwin City, Kansas — a town that quickly felt like a second home, where he built lifelong friendships, put down deep roots, and met his wife. After getting engaged, he moved to Lawrence, and with a baby on the way, he made the leap to start Kodiak Fence. Today Jake and his wife have two daughters and another baby on the way, and they drive his commitment to building something they can be proud of.
Jake first entered the fencing industry through a friend and immediately recognized a gap in the market for a more hands-on, completely transparent contractor experience.
